A lot of people who are regular
email users must be familiar with Nigerian 419 scams. In this type of scam,
random users will get mails which are supposedly sent by a lawyer from Nigeria.
The lawyer would declare the recipient as the sole inheritor of a huge fortune
after the original owners of the property died in a plane crash. They
bequeathed the entire fortune in your name. Normally such a scam would make
people to sit up and think how something like that would be possible when they
don’t event know a single member of the deceased family. However the lure of
millions will encourage some people to spend thousands of dollars in processing
fees up until the point they finally realize that the entire thing was a scam.
