Online Fraud

Have you come across those sudden pop up ads which declare as the latest winner of a new iPhone? I guess this type of #online #fraud has happened to every person who is known to casually surf the web. These ads crop up out of nowhere and take unsuspecting users by surprise. The thought of winning an expensive devise for basically doing nothing is too good of a deal to pass up and people unwittingly end up clicking on the link which redirects them to the parent site. Here they would be required to pay a small processing fee worth a hundred dollars or more to get the devise shipped to your address. This is a clear cut case of online fraud because not only are you not going to receive the iPhone, you also end up compromising your online banking account while making a payment through their platform. In the long run, this could cost you thousands of dollars if the con men decide to log in to your account and walk away with a chunk of your savings. Never reply to any of these pop up ads without doing some basic research on the company. http://goo.gl/aQQC2r
